Q2: Can I get a custom design printed if I don’t have an STL file?
A: Absolutely! Got a sketch, concept, or rough idea? We’ll help turn it into a printable 3D model, depending on the complexity we will connect you to one of our awesome model designers. Our team makes sure your design is not only printable but looks awesome when finished.
Q3: How fast can I get my 3D print?
A: For standard prints, lead time is ~1 week and shipping can take longer please factor in seasonal demand. Our goal is to have the print in your hands quick. Custom projects might take a bit longer, depending on complexity, and current demand, but we’ll always give you an estimated timeline upfront.
Q4: Do you do small-batch runs?
A: Yes! In fact we mainly do. We specialise in small-batch 3D printing for students, creatives, and entrepreneurs. Need 5 prints or 50? No problem, we can help you scale without breaking the bank.
Q5: Can I use your prints for functional parts?
A: Totally. Many of our customers use our prints for prototypes, tools, and mechanical components. We’ll recommend the best material and print settings so your parts are strong, precise, and reliable. Also even if it’s just art isn’t looking cool on your shelf a great function.
Q6: What file formats do you accept?
A: We work with STL and OBJ files. Don’t worry if your file is a different format, just check in with us, and we’ll help convert it so your idea prints perfectly.
Q7: Can you help improve my 3D model for printing?
A: Yes! Our experts will review your design and tweak it for print success. We check wall thickness, supports, and any tricky details to make sure your print comes out flawless.
Q8: How do I place an order?
A: It’s easy! Reach out to us with the contact page and we will get back to you as soon as we can, with options, and prices.
Q9: Can I choose specific colors or finishes?
A: You bet! We have a rainbow of PLA and PETG colours. Fancy something specific? Sure why not but we have trusted suppliers and lead time can increase if we need to order special colours, materials, or if there is a requirement for specialty parts for our machines.
Q10: Do you ship outside Cork or Ireland?
A: We primarily ship across the republic of Ireland, but international orders are welcome! Shipping costs and delivery times will vary, so just contact us to check. If you are in Cork we can also arrange collection and Delivery.
Q11: What if my 3D print arrives damaged?
A: Don’t panic! If your order arrives damaged, just send us photos, and we’ll replace it or refund your purchase. We carefully package every print to keep it safe in transit.
Q12: Do you offer discounts for students or bulk orders?
A: Yes! Students, small businesses, and entrepreneurs can benefit from bulk order discounts or special pricing for recurring orders. Contact us to see how we can save you money. Students should be aware that near the end of the semester is as busy for us as it is for you.
Q13: How do you make sure every print is high quality?
A: Every print is made on one of our calibrated, top-notch 3D printers. We inspect layer consistency, finish, and accuracy so your print looks and works exactly as you imagined.
Q14: Lasers?
A: Pew! Pew! Pew! We love them and engraving is possible on some prints, we even did some business cards that were both 3d printed and engraved! Honestly, we just like an excuse to wear the goggles. We can offer this service but only on certain items flat surfaces mainly and this is handled case by case, laser time overall is a significant cost and we want to make sure we are using it safely.
